BLOG entry # 68!
a friend once ask me what will be better... the first days or the last remaining moments...???
this friend is also a nurse like me...
and i said that because she was actually pertaining to this two fields in nursing...
PEDIATRIC???
or
GERIATRIC???
in laypeople s term young or old...???
she likes the early and i dig the old(don't get me wrong, i'm still referring to geriatrics here)
well, actually the two has their weird similarities...
that's why when i was asked then, i couldn't even state why i chose geriatrics over the other...
because either way both of them needed lots of attention therefore an 8 hour shift will never have a chance to become hours less(if you know what i mean??!!!
but that doesn't resolve anything??
in pediatrics... a nurse's touch can help a newborn live a healthy life(for the time being)
in geriatrics... a nurse's patience can make the old folks happy and comfortable(during their remaining days)
so which is which???
OK... i tried my best not to be the quintessential but i guess i'm really are one...
so i'm gonna say it...
both are important...
because nurses tend to everybody... and i mean everybody... uncategorically everybody!!!!
the two fields aren't in the sane level to compare in the first place...
because nurses care!!!! we just do!!!!
(this post doesn't change the fact that i still don't want to become a nurse) (although i am)
