neener-neener
in the words of sheldon cooper… the funniest man on tv, my tv that is…“there’s an economic concept known as a positional good in which an object is only valued by the possessor because it’s not possessed by others. the term was coined in 1976 by economist Fred Hirsch to replace the more colloquial, but less precise, neener-neener.’”
turns out it’s not just another funny line on a comedy show…
if you think about it… it is actually true…
or at least i think it is…
2 years ago a franchise of jollibee opened some 15 minute ride away from our house.
a month ago another one opened to a nearer place from us… a 10 minute ride less from the first one.
at that time… i felt less inclination to eat yum or jolly spaghetti or jolly hotdog or chicken joy...
a lot less compared when i was studying when 4 times a week is considered the minimum…
i used to like jollibee so much… and now not anymore…
and it has nothing to do with the food…
maybe i decided to grow up… although it’s hard to believe that jollibee appeals only to the young because my best friend’s grandmother only eats burger if it’s yum with tlc and only that… so maybe not…
or maybe sheldon’s words speak the truth…
when things are so easy to acquire or can be acquired by everyone around you, it losses it’s worth…
because when you can have something only you possess… suddenly you become hitler(if you know what i mean) not that it’s a good thing… not entirely…
or maybe i'm just really really really selfish…
but i also share…
so maybe i'm not really really really selfish…

there are blogs that i really enjoy, but i don't put in my links because i don't want the general public to discover them.
i think that's the same, yeah?
